I am going to shock you right now, I hate drinking water. Water, in most circumstances, is boring and lame and I genuinely always feel like I am drowning when I drink water. Am I dehydrated? Yes. Does it show? Probably. But I am trying to change my ways, I have been forcing myself to consume at least five bottles of water a day — which is definitely less than I need but I am starting off small because I so viscerally hate the thing that sustains my life. I have developed a fool proof diet and the only rule is, you eat whatever the fuck you want. Before I left for Paris, I limited my intake of grains to basically none. Flash forward, and I eat at least two types of grains a day and I’ve lost 15 pounds since moving here. I walk wherever I go, and haven’t had soda since I left the US, and I’m so fucking happy. I love any place that will make me thin without even trying.
